New Features

  • New, more robust and featureful constraint view.
  • Constraints are shown for the feature hierarchy in addition to additional constraints.
  • When a configuration is selected in the feature model editor, the constraints are evaluated and the status of each constraint is shown (ie. satisfied or not satisfied).
  • Support for arbitrary propositional formulas when writing additional constraints. NOTE: constraints are written using node Id instead of an XPath expression.

At OOPSLA'07 we presented a demo of the FUDA (Framework Understanding through Dynamic Analysis) framework comprehension technique. In this demonstration, we used the prototype implementation of FUDA to generate implementation templates for the concept context menu in Eclipse views.

University of Waterloo's ECE Department received an "award of excellence" from the British Computer Society, recognizing "50 years of outstanding contribution to the IT industry in Canada". Prof. Krzysztof Czarnecki accepted the award at a dinner in Toronto hosted by the British Computer Society in Upper Canada.
